Secure Business Computing Solutions Ltd collects data about individuals, usually within a business context. We only collect basic personal data about you. It does not include any special types of information. This can however include name, address, email, phone number etc. Information is collected about you when you request us to contact you or place an order with us for our products or services. Secure Business Computing Solutions Ltd treats all data which identifies an individual as Personal Data. Secure Business Computing Solutions acts as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us, this means we control what happens to the data in our possession. We only collect basic personal data about you. It does not include any special types of information or location-based information unless required to deliver our services. This can however include name, address, email, phone number etc. We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with information associated with your queries, consultancy or certification and managed services. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service to you. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, attend training or provide feedback. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
The information collected about you is used when you request information on our Consultancy, Managed Services or Cyber Essentials, IASME and ISO 27001 certification services – data is processed by both Secure Business Computing Solutions Ltd and our trusted Accreditation/Certification partners (IASME Consortium & QMS International). The Data will be used to generate assessment accounts, arrange certification audits, provide consulting or managed services, in addition to invoicing and communicating with the clients with regards to other services they may be interested in. No other 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless it is specifically required to meet either contractual obligations or the legitimate interests of the company as defined under Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR).
All the personal data we hold is processed by us using internal or cloud-based services hosted within the UK. Data is located on servers within the UK, except for the contact information from people whom register to receive contact and updates regarding our services. This information is stored and processed by Mail Chimp outside the EU. However, Mail Chimp complies with EU-US Privacy Shield.
Data collected when a client signs up to receive a regular newsletter / bulletin – data will be processed by Secure Business Computing Solutions Ltd using Mail Chimp. The data will only be used to send out the newsletter and the client will be able to unsubscribe at any time via Mail Chimp. Data will be deleted when users unsubscribe
If consent has been given, Secure Business Computing Solutions may also send marketing emails or contact you with details of other products or services we think may be of interest to you. Following consent to receive marketing, you may opt out later. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to our trusted Accreditation/Certification partners.
