What is Personal Data?

What information do we collect about you?
Secure Business Computing Solutions Ltd collects data about individuals, usually within a business context. We only collect basic personal data about you such as name, address, email, phone number. It does not include any special types/categories. Information is collected about you when you request us to contact you or place an order with us for our products or services. Secure Business Computing Solutions Ltd treats all data which identifies an individual as Personal Data. Secure Business Computing Solutions acts as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us, this means we control what happens to the data in our possession. We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with information associated with your queries, consultancy or certification and managed services. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service to you. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, attend training or provide feedback. Basic website usage information is collected using cookies.

• enquire about a specific product;

• subscribe to receive one of Our e-communications;
• respond to a campaign;

When you request information on our Consultancy, Managed Services, Cyber Essentials, IASME or ISO 27001 services – data is processed by both Secure Business Computing Solutions Ltd and our trusted Accreditation/Certificaiton partners (IASME Consortium & QMS International). The Data will be used to generate assessment accounts and arrange certification audits in addition to invoicing and communicating with the clients with regards to other services they may. No other 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless it is specifically required to meet either contractual obligations or the legitimate interests of the company as defined under Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR).

Secure Business Computing Solutions have a mature Information Security & Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. We are audited by external parties as part of our ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and IASME Accreditation.
The majority of personal data we hold is processed by us using internal or cloud-based services hosted within the UK or EU. Other non UK/EU hosted services are located in the US in compliance with EU-US Privacy Shield.
If consent has been given, Secure Business Computing Solutions may also send marketing emails or contact you with details of other products or services we think may be of interest to you. Following consent to receive marketing, you may opt out later. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to our trusted Accreditation/Certification partners.
